This week’s featured Pet is Yogi, a 1-year-old tan & white Collie/Pit mix who has called Woods Humane Society home since February (Yogi is one of the most overlooked dogs currently at WHS). Yogi is current on vaccinations, micro chipped, neutered, and currently participating in our Summer Critter Camp Program. Yogi was originally brought to WHS by his previous owner because they did not have enough time to care for him. A gentle and playful dog—Yogi loves kids and wants to play with them all day long. A great outdoor/indoor dog, Yogi does a good job of entertaining himself in the backyard while you are at work. Yogi gets along with other dogs and is always looking for a playmate. Aside from working with youth ages 9-12, Yogi is both a staff and volunteer favorite. He frequently joins our volunteers on hikes, runs, and trips to the beach. Primarily raised as an outdoor dog, Yogi will most likely do well both inside and out as a result of his training at Woods Humane Society. His previous owner states that Yogi is very active, lovable, and does great on runs/walks/hikes. If you are looking for a K9 wingman who will never turn down playtime or exercise, consider stopping by WHS and spend some time getting to know Yogi!
