An Atascadero woman accused of embezzling close to a million dollars from her boss is headed to prison. The SLO County D.A.’s Office says Joy Wilde pleaded no contest to 21 charges against her. Prosecutors say, between February 2016 and July 2019, she forged and deposited 63 company checks totaling 975,000 dollars. Wilde is scheduled to be sentenced on March 16th.
