The man swept up last year in the search for a gun that San Luis Obispo Police Chief Deanna Cantrell left in a public restroom, has rejected a plea deal by the County D.A.’s Office. Cheyne Orndoff and his wife, Vanessa Bedroni, were arrested last summer, and face drug and child endangerment following a search of their home. According to KSBY, Orndoff’s attorney rejected the offer, in part, because it would have prevented him from moving forward with his civil case against the City.
