Santa Maria Vets Headed To Hollywood

Two Santa Maria veterans are headed to Hollywood and the big screen. After serving 27 years in the military, Don Denoyer battled a severe diagnosis of PTSD. He wrote the script for Memoirs of a Fighter as a form of therapy. According to KEYT, He enlisted his other veteran brothers who have been faced with similar traumas. Steve Baird, the CEO of Santa Maria’s Band of Brothers non-profit will also be in the film. They hope it will bring awareness to what so many veterans face daily.
