Sony Pictures Entertainment released the first trailer for “A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood.”
Tom Hanks stars as television personality, Mister Rogers.
The movie tells the story of a jaded and cynical journalist who’s assigned to write a profile piece for Esquire magazine about television icon Fred Rogers. Along the way, Rogers shows the reporter how kindness and empathy can leave a lasting impression on the lives of strangers.
The film is based on the real-life friendship between Rogers and journalist Tom Junod.
“A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood” is scheduled to hit theaters on November 22nd.
