A 73-year-old Cambria man was in court yesterday for sentencing after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a female friend in her home last year. A jury had convicted Herbert George Connor in February on charges of felony sexual battery by restraint, misdemeanor sexual battery, and assault. Connor was sentenced to a year in San Luis Obispo County Jail. His victim thanked the court and the D.A.’s Office for believing in her.
